Introduction

I have a masters degree in computer science on the University of Economics in Prague where I currently continue with my postgradual studies. I'm working in IT since 1998 and since than I have experienced many different technologies and gained extensive experiences in this field.

During my career I have been working on many interesting projects including projects for big international banks and govermental institutions but I had also developed open source software.

The most interesting projects I have been working on include:

  • Distributed computing system for calculation of strock indicies,

  • Modular real-time billing system for ISP's,

  • Online multiplayer strategic simulatation game called 'RedDragon',

  • Implementation of the international standard for compound XML document validation NVDL,

  • Remote camera-based monitoring system,

  • HTML validator able to unveil more errors than the official W3C validator and more...

I am a Sun certified Java programmer, I'm fluent in English and German and I have a working abroad experience. I have also published several articles as part of my scientific work mostly related to XML validation and I have presented my work at WWW, XTech and Extreme Mark-up Languages conferences.
