There are planty of occations for aestetic experience during development. Painters have their brushes and colours and programmers have their code. Nowadays the code isn't used just to communicate with machines.

As programming became a team work business, the code became an instrument of inter-human communication as well and that opens wide possibilities for aestetic experience.

Thanks to the OOP, writing code can be compared in some ways to aestetics principles based in architecture, literature and poetry. Very impressive is e.g. elegance of expression or a thought-out harmonic object model.
